MedicMate offers customizable JobSets and a Medical Jotter which offer easy access to specific hospital guidelines, protocols and care bundles, on demand 24/7. MedicMate can be utilized as an electronic logbook, enabling trainees to record their training experiences effortlessly at the bedside. Many educational bodies are making this practice compulsory. The Miscellaneous Jobs section can be utilized to generate to-do lists of required competencies. Completion dates can be automatically logged and textural notes can be added to supplement entries. Relevant patient encounters can be logged and archived in the Patient Zone allowing patient entries to be printed and submitted as part of a portfolio.
MedicMate delivers an electronic switchboard specifically designed for the healthcare professional. The searchable directory can house the myriad of telephone extensions, faxes, e-mail addresses and aircalls within a hospital as well as other numbers such as patient support organizations. Access on demand reduces the reliance on hospital switchboard, where up to 20% of in-house calls can relate to simple directory enquiries.
